What is this garbage?! Adults stripping naked and making a soapy slip and slide for themselves before pantsing a police officer because they thought they were dreaming.....I don’t mind butts, farts, chomping toilets, even most of the pranks (the exception being the ketchup on the seats as that can affect others in addition to vandalism), but there is a line somewhere and while I can’t say where that line is I can clearly see that this book has crossed it. Pairing this with the sing song chant of ridicule in the last book has this family leaving this series unfinished. It is a shame because the previous books were a bit “edgy” and engaging for a reluctant reader but this has gone too far. I would be willing to bet that the 5* families didn’t actually read the book with their kids up to the naked slip and slide experience on page 152.We’ve read your other work Dav- be better than this. You have an opportunity to get your work published and to reach readers to shape the future-is this what you want them to aspire to be?
