At this time of writing, The Mobi Exposed (VIP Book 4) has garnered 8 customer reviews with rating of 5 out of 5 stars. Not a bad score at all as if you round it off, it’s actually a perfect TEN already. From the looks of that rating, we can say the Mobi is Good TO READ!

I don't really give 5 star reviews. A book has to be amazing and nearly life changing for 5 stars. If it gets 4 stars from me then it's pretty damned good. Three stars means I liked it but the book had some flaws. Two stars means it could have been better and one star means I truly regret reading the book.I liked book one and two of this series in the 3-4 stars range based on the above rating system. Book three didn't resonate with me for some reason and I think it's because book one and two really involved the entire cast of characters from the band. Book three started to diverge from this and book four continues it. Which I think lessened the book. Now the book has to rely simply on the main heroes to get through and these books aren't strong enough for that.Rye and Brenna have been teased at since book one and this installment is a let down for being teased through three prior books.They get together for just sex VERY early on and all the angst of will they or won't they from the last 3 books is immediately erased. I didn't feel like the reason they each had been tormenting the other for TEN YEARS was valid and instead seemed like the author had boxed herself in without a good idea of how to get the characters together.I read this nearly a week ago and I honestly can't remember anything else about it. It made me want to go back and read book one and two to see how Brenna and Rye interacted and if it felt like they really were in tune with each other as much as book four intimated and I didn't see it. Their interactions were very brief and mostly angry, like petulant children who are forced into a playdate.Also, these books are taking too long to be published between installments. I can't remember what happened to everyone and don't always want to re-read the books (like where are Brenna's cat shaped eye glasses, that type of continuity really grates).From this author I did like The Hook Up, but didn't really enjoy the read of the books in that series either. I guess Whip is next and it feels like Jules has been mentioned enough in previous books that she might be Whips love interest, but I can't say I'm that stoked to get to book five.Side note: Why did Brenna have to be into women? It's referenced twice in this book, never in the previous books and feels like it was just done to check a box and say, "Yeah, as a writer, I'm into diversity. Look at my character who is bisexual.". Feels like a shameless plug to get non-straights interested in the character.
