Audio Book Imagine Me Gone with Free EASY Reading!

So this is my second stab at a Haslett book, and my overall analogy is going to be an odd one. I think I found that reading his work is to me like having perpendicular chives adorning my plate at a restaurant. Ultimately, there seems to be something dated about the style, that despite the claims on the book covers about complexity and deep psychological characters, I just find that the approach to these works feels old-fashioned and stilted. It’s not that I don’t like chives or books written 40 or 50 years ago, it’s just that I don’t really want to open a recent book and have it read like that. Clearly, I’m not on any awards committees, and any fan has really no reason to dislike him due to my reaction. Both times I picked up one of his books, I quickly found myself thinking about all the other books I haven’t yet read and would like to move onto.
